Being a human is not easy, and the healing path is not linear. That’s where yoga therapy can help. Yoga Therapy can guide you through the processes of understanding the thought patterns and limiting beliefs that keep manifesting in your life. Being an Experienced 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher means that Jenn has the credentials to teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Trauma Informed and Accessible Yoga, as well as yoga for Pregnant women and new parents.

In a clinical or holistic healthcare setting we can work in the field of mental and physical health as part of a care team. Jenn can work in recovery and addiction services or cancer or cardiac care and rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, individualized sessions occur by way of one-on-one or small group yoga therapy sessions either in studio or online.

What does a yoga therapy session look like?  Yoga Therapy looks like a meeting where we look at goals and assess either our physical body, our emotional or intellectual state. We also include our connection to spirituality where you are at in your journey, as well as where you want to go. We create an individualized care plan with identifiable benchmarks, and then we meet those goals with yoga practices. These Yoga practices include stretching, strength building, and mobility via breathwork and incorporate Yoga philosophy, which is the interweaving the psychology of yoga. Affirmations, journaling, and self-care routines can all be part of a yoga therapy care plan. A Yoga Therapist makes an excellent partner in anyone’s established care team. Because yoga is a philosophy, yoga is for everyone. By practicing mindfulness, by observing your thoughts, sitting in meditation, moving your body, as especially by breathing – YOU are practicing yoga!

  • Yoga Therapy Sessions are 45 minutes in length. Each session incorporates elements of breathwork, mindful movement, and meditation. At this time, we are not able to take insurance, but hope to in the future.

    Clients may book sessions to be held in-person or via zoom, and sessions may be purchased individually as needed, although packages are available and recommended, that include pricing for 1-4 sessions per month with reduced rates for commitment to a 6 month plan of service.

  • Group Yoga Therapy Sessions are offered weekly in-person and via zoom conferencing and range from generalized wellness offerings to specialized sessions based on needs of the group.
