MORNING AT WILLOW CREEK
There is something special about mornings at the barn.
The quiet. The fresh air. The sounds of the horses starting their day. And maybe, for a couple of hours, permission to slow down and do something completely different.
Join us from 9:00–11:00 a.m. for Morning at Willow Creek.
You do not need to own a horse. You do not need any horse experience. You don’t even need to know if horses are really your thing.
Just bring a little curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
We’ll begin in the indoor arena where you’ll meet the Willow Creek team and, of course, the horses. We’ll talk about how horses communicate, what it means to simply be in their presence, and some of the basics of safely interacting with them.
After a short demonstration, we’ll pair up and get hands-on, learning how to lead and walk a horse.
From there, we’ll head into the barn and learn about cross ties and grooming. Each horse will have its own grooming station, giving you the opportunity to slow down, get comfortable, and spend some one-on-one time with these incredible animals.
Once the horses are settled back into their stalls, we’ll pour the coffee and tea, bring out the pastries, and spend the rest of our morning together—meeting new people, exploring Willow Creek, and sharing in the experience.
Maybe you’ve loved horses your entire life but have always admired them from afar. Maybe their size makes you a little nervous. Or maybe you’re simply curious about what it feels like to step into their world.
All of it is welcome here.
Come with an open mind, a little curiosity, and a willingness to see where the morning takes you.
